đŸ˜„About😀

Jovise is a website for everyone who wants to learn math, likes math or enjoys math quizzes. It contains around 20000 different questions and a math tutor chatbot that you can use to improve your math skills.

Interacting with our math chatbot is a fun way of exploring the mathematical universe. Just type in a question, topic or computation and see where it takes you.

On the start page you will find a new quiz every day. Most of the times random questions will be chosen for this quiz at the beginning of the day. Click the "Previous" link to see previous versions of this daily quiz.

The links in the menu on the top of the website contain quizzes sorted by topic or grade level. Just pick a topic or grade level and the quiz will start. The quizzes in Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Calculus are adaptive. This means that they start with a random selection of easier questions in a given topic. If you answer a lot of the questions correctly, the next questions tend to be more difficult. If you answer a lot of the questions incorrectly, you will typically see some easier questions.

The quizzes in the Grade section are not adaptive and will choose random questions appropriate for the selected grades. The Random mix quiz contains a random sample of all available questions.

If you want to practice a specific skill, check if it is on the Skill page, which breaks down skills into several small steps.

Most of the quizzes can be taken several times. You will likely get different questions every time. The categories Word problems and Proofs will show the same quiz questions every time you access them.

You do not have to go through the quizzes in any particular order, just pick whatever catches your eye. "Numbers to 10" is arguably the easiest quiz in the Arithmetic menu, some of the questions in the Calculus related categories will be among the hardest. "Grade K" is the easiest quiz in the Grade section and "High school" the most difficult. Random mix quizzes contain a mix of harder and easier questions.

The icons above the questions allow direct access to glossary pages, hints and similar, easier or harder questions (and sometimes the solution).
